Inter have already begun assessing their options should they lose striker Lautaro Martinez this summer, with Atalanta’s Luis Muriel high on their list of targets.

As reported in today’s newspaper edition of Corriere dello Sport, Argentina international Martinez has attracted strong interest from Spanish champions Atletico Madrid and city rivals Real Madrid, and Inter could opt to sell if they receive an offer of €80-90 million.

If they former Racing Club striker were to depart, Inter would then focus on striking a deal for Muriel and hope to take advantage of a positive relationship with Atalanta to secure favourable terms.

However, if the Nerazzurri are unable to bring Muriel in then they could instead integrate Alexis Sanchez into their regular starting line-up, with the Chilean often playing as back-up to Martinez and Lukaku this season.

Inter would then seek a younger option as a longer-term prospect to support Sanchez and Lukaku, with the newspaper suggesting Sassuolo’s 20-year-old Giacomo Raspadori.
