Paris Saint-Germain are determined to secure a deal for Inter wing-back Achraf Hakimi as soon as possible, but have not yet met the Nerazzurri’s asking price.

According to Sky Sport Italia, the Ligue 1 runners ups are confident of bringing the Moroccan to the French capital and are aware that Inter must sell in order to balance their books.

However, Inter will not part with Hakimi for less than €80 million and PSG are yet to meet this figure, so an agreement has not been reached thus far.

Should the 22-year-old depart, the Nerazzurri will seek to replace him with Barcelona’s Brazilian international Emerson Royal, who has enjoyed a successful spell on loan at Real Betis.

Meanwhile, incoming coach Simone Inzaghi has already begun considering how to shape his squad for the coming campaign, with midfielders Stefano Sensi and Matias Vecino afforded an opportunity to feature in the former Lazio coach’s plans.

Elsewhere, Christian Eriksen and Alexis Sanchez are also being evaluated and the Nerazzurri may look to hold onto them rather than cashing in, with Inzaghi open to utilising them as attacking midfielders.
