The sale of Achraf Hakimi may not be enough to balance the books at Inter this summer, with striker Lautaro Martinez also facing an uncertain future.

As reported in today’s newspaper edition of Corriere dello Sport, the Nerazzurri are close to finalising a deal that would send Hakimi to Paris Saint-Germain, but may need to raise additional funds as owners Suning look to cut costs.

Should another senior player be sacrificed, it is likely that Inter will cash in on Martinez and the Argentina international has drawn interest from Atletico Madrid and Real Madrid.

The two Spanish rivals are ready to compete for Martinez’s signature and Inter will demand €80-90 million for him.

However, the sale of the Racing Club striker is dependent on the financial situation at the Nerazzurri and the newspaper suggests that any movement is likely to take place in July, when the club have reassessed their position.
