Inter have sounded out a replacement for Achraf Hakimi in the event that the wing-back leaves this summer and will focus on Barcelona’s Emerson Royal.

According to FCInter1908.it, the Nerazzurri are bracing themselves for sustained interest in Hakimi as they seek to balance the books with a high-profile sale, amidst interest from Paris Saint-Germain, Bayern Munich and Chelsea.

Whilst they have received an offer of €60 million for the Morocco international, Inter are determined to hold out for €70m and there is a distinct possibility that he will leave.

Should he depart, the Italian champions have already decided on a replacement in Emerson and a bid of €20-25m is expected to be sufficient to persuade Barcelona to release him.

The Brazil international has spent the past two seasons on loan at Real Betis following his arrival from Atletico Mineiro in January 2019, but may be brought back into the first team at the Camp Nou next season.
