Inter are likely to consider alternative loan destinations for teenage striker Sebastiano Esposito after being dissatisfied with Venezia’s use of him this season.
As reported in today’s newspaper edition of La Gazzetta dello Sport, Venezia are hoping to retain the 18-year-old ahead of their return to Serie A next season after taking him on loan this term.
However, Inter are concerned at Esposito’s lack of playing time at the Stadio Pier Luigi Penzo and are unconvinced by the prospect of extending the loan deal as they seek a destination to allow him to develop.
As a result, the Nerazzurri will meet with Esposito and his representatives to consider alternative clubs to move to on another loan deal next season and will seek a more suitable move.
Esposito made 28 Serie B appearances for Venezia en route to their promotion to the top flight, but only 13 of these were starts as he managed just three goals.
