Inter are staying strong in their talks with PSG over Achraf Hakimi, according to a leading Italian broadcaster today.

Sky Sport Italia (via FcInter1908.it) said the Nerazzurri had rejected a €60 million bid from the Ligue 1 runners-up, because they want €80 million to sell the Moroccan international.

Inter need to secure a big sale before June 30 but it remains unclear whether one would be enough to stabilise their financial position.

Nobody is untouchable, the report warned, but one player Inter are determined not to lose is Romelu Lukaku, despite reported interest from Chelsea.

As far as Hakimi is concerned, Inter have identified Barcelona’s Emerson Royal as a replacement for the 22-year-old, with the player valued at around €25 million.

The Nerazzurri have picked Simone Inzaghi to replace Antonio Conte as head coach, but they cannot announce him for the moment because he needs to sort his contract issues with Lazio.

Inzaghi is still under contract formally with the Biancocelesti until June 30, which is delaying his unveiling at Inter.

Inter are expected to announce Inzaghi later this week, after it was initially scheduled for the first couple of days in the week.
