Inter will shift focus to signing players after completing the sales of Portuguese midfielder Joao Mario and Moroccan wing-back Achraf Hakimi.

This according to a report that aired moments ago by Sky Sport Italia which states that as soon as the Ligue 1 giants raise their offer of €60 million for Achraf Hakimi a deal will be concluded.

Simone Inzaghi, who will officially be unveiled as the new coach of the Nerazzurri within the next 48 hours, considers Inter’s squad to be very strong and competitive, even without Achraf Hakimi, the report continues.

The sale of Hakimi together with that of Portuguese midfielder Joao Mario, who is reportedly very close to completing a move back to Sporting Lisbon, will allow Inter to look to the future, focusing on players to sign, the report adds.

In conclusion, the report claims that Simone Inzaghi has decided that he wants to keep midfield trio of Christian Eriksen, Marcelo Brozovic and Nicolo Barella as well as Romelu Lukaku, ahead of next season.
