Inter have only received one offer for Lautaro Martinez so far, according to a report in the Italian media today.

Corriere dello Sport’s print edition said Atletico Madrid made a bid between €40-50 million to sign El Toro, but the Nerazzurri did not even consider it.

Lautaro would only be available for a much higher fee, although his agent Alejandro Camano is apparently at work to find interested clubs.

The 23-year-old is more than happy to stay at Inter, the report added, with strike partner Romelu Lukaku working to convince him beyond all doubt.

Inter need to balance their books before June 30 and this leaves the club’s directors with little option but to sell one of their star players.

Achraf Hakimi seems most likely to leave at the moment, with a strong interest coming from Paris Saint-Germain in France.

Lautaro’s future also remains uncertain but if any club wishes to sign the former Racing Club forward, they will have to offer far more than the pitiful €40-50 million proposed by Atletico Madrid.
