Simone Inzaghi will have a lot of youngsters to assess when he begins pre-season at Inter next month, according to a report in the Italian media today.

Tuttosport’s print edition said Federico Dimarco, Lucien Agoume and Zinho Vanheusden would all return to Appiano Gentile but their futures remained uncertain.

Dimarco could be sacrificed if Inter received an offer in the region of €10-12 million, given the club’s financial problems, but he will be evaluated by Inzaghi before a decision is made.

Vanheusden might re-join Standard Liege on loan after suffering two serious injuries in the last few years, but again Inzaghi will take a look at the centre-back first.

As far as Agoume is concerned, Inter will renew his contract through to 2024 and then decide what to do with his future.

The 19-year-old could stay with the first team for next season if the Nerazzurri were to sell several players in midfield.

Elsewhere, Eddie Salcedo will replace Andrea Pinamonti as Inter’s fourth striker while Lorenzo Pirola and Sebastiano Esposito could move out on loan again.
