Inter and Cagliari are in talks over Uruguayan international midfielder Nahitan Nandez, Italian media reports.

According to FcInterNews, Nerazzurri Sporting Director Piero Ausilio med with his Cagliari counterpart Stefano Capozucca to discuss the futures of both Nahitan Nandez as well as Radja Nainggolan.

Inter are keen on utility player Nahitan Nandez, who Cagliari are asking €20-25 million in cash for, something the Nerazzurri can’t afford, the report continues.

So in order to lower the cash part, Inter have reportedly opened the door to sending players as part payment, with Cagliari asking for Lorenzo Pirola, something the Nerazzurri rejected immediately.

Instead the Nerazzurri proposed sending young Italian striker Sebastiano Esposito, who spent last season on loan at newly promoted Venezia, the report claims.

The report adds that Ausilio suggested Cagliari could pick another player on top of Esposito, namely one of the trio goalkeeper Michele Di Gregorio as well as youth team players Gaetano Pio Oristiano and Martin Satriano.
