Inter are a possible destination for Barcelona midfielder Miralem Pjanic, according to a report in the Spanish media today.

Catalan publication Sport said the Nerazzurri were looking for quality reinforcements in midfield and could become contenders for the Bosnian.

Pjanic is out of favour under Ronald Koeman at Barcelona and is looking for a move away from the club, with a return to Serie A thought to be his preference.

Juventus are the other team in Italy being linked with the 31-year-old, a move which would be ‘ideal’ for Pjanic given he already played for the Bianconeri.

Pjanic is more likely to move back to Italy than join a club in the Premier League, the report argued, but what seems certain is his time in Barcelona is over.

The former Roma midfielder only joined the La Liga giants last summer in a swap deal with Arthur, a move which helped Juventus and Barcelona ease their financial woes by recording capital gains.
