Inter will take their Serie A title celebrations to the United States in July when they play a pre-season tournament with two Premier League clubs.

The Nerazzurri announced today they would join Arsenal, Everton and Colombian side Millonarios in playing the Florida Cup between 25-28 July.

Simone Inzaghi’s side will play Arsenal at Orlando’s Camping World Stadium on July 25, before either a third-place match or the final against Everton or Millonarios on July 28.

Inter CEO Beppe Marotta said: “We couldn’t be happier to be adding these Florida Cup matches to our training program as we continue our Scudetto celebrations in the United States together with our first team.

“The whole club is excited about the upcoming trip to Orlando for a couple of challenging games, and the organisation look forward to celebrating alongside our many American supporters.”

Inter are due to announce Inzaghi as their new head coach on a two-year deal tomorrow, following the surprise departure of Antonio Conte last week.

The Nerazzurri have finally begun planning their pre-season schedule this week, with owners Suning previously preoccupied with other matters such as Conte’s future.

Inzaghi will hope the matches against Arsenal and Everton or Millonarios can help prepare his team for their Serie A title defence in the 2021-22 campaign.
