Simone Inzaghi can’t wait to get started at Inter, according to a report in the Italian media today.
Corriere dello Sport’s print edition said the Nerazzurri would finally announce Inzaghi as their new head coach tomorrow, after a delay due to his contract situation at Lazio.
Inzaghi is enthusiastic and fired up to begin life at Inter, according to those close to him, where he is thought to have signed a two-year deal.
Antonio Conte’s replacement will be officially unveiled on Thursday after Inter prepared all the necessary red tape in the last few hours.
Inzaghi is probably already organising his first visit to Milan after being named head coach, the Rome-based paper added.
Inter have already started planning for next season with a conference call involving the club’s directors, but Inzaghi will need to analyse the infrastructure and facilities available to him as well.
Inzaghi will visit Inter’s training complex in Appiano Gentile along with the members of the backroom staff he is bringing with him.
