Newly crowned Champions League winners Chelsea have slapped a €20 million price tag on Inter linked Italian international wing-back Emerson Palmier, Italian broadcaster reports.

According to a report by Sky Sport 24 aired earlier this evening, the Blues want a hefty €20 million for the former Roma, a price tag deemed as too excessive by the Nerazzurri.

Inter, who have been linked with the player for several seasons, are in the look out for a reinforcement for the left flank, given than Ashley Young will leave the club after his contract expire later this month on June 30th.

However, given the much publicized financial situation of the club, it is very unlikely that the Nerazzurri would pay €20 million for Palmieri who has only featured 15 times for Chelsea this past season, the report adds.

Emerson Palmieri joined Chelsea in January 2018 in a deal worth reportedly €29 million but has failed to make an impact at the club, featuring only 70 games across all competitions scoring just twice in the process.
