Torino are very keen on signing Federico Dimarco from Inter, according to a report in the Italian media today.

Tuttosport’s print edition said Ivan Juric, the Granata’s new head coach, had requested the wing-back after working with Dimarco for 18 months at Hellas Verona.

Inter have recalled Dimarco from his loan spell in Verona and will wait for Simone Inzaghi to assess the 23-year-old in pre-season, before deciding on his future.

Beppe Marotta has made it clear that anyone wanting to sign Dimarco must present an offer worth €12 million, or at the very least €10 million.

Inter would certainly not consider sending Dimarco out on loan again at the moment, although they could change their mind at the end of the transfer window.

Dimarco scored five goals and provided five assists for Hellas Verona this season, helping them finish 10th in Serie A, and is hoping to get another chance with Inter for the 2021-22 campaign.
