Inter have found a replacement for Lautaro Martinez if they need it, according to a leading Italian broadcaster today.

Sport Mediaset (via FcInter1908.it) said El Toro was second on the list of players Inter could sacrifice this summer, behind Achraf Hakimi who is headed for Paris Saint-Germain.

Memphis Depay, whose contract with Lyon expires on June 30, was due to join Barcelona but the situation has changed after the Catalans picked up Sergio Aguero on a free transfer instead.

Inter are now in a position to snap up the Dutch international, providing Romelu Lukaku with a new strike partner that he would apparently enjoy playing with.

As far as Hakimi’s replacement is concerned, Simone Inzaghi has told Inter he would be happy to stay with the right wing-backs already on the Nerazzurri’s books.

Matteo Darmian and Valentino Lazaro would provide enough cover on that flank, in his opinion, with Inzaghi keen to focus attention on signing a left wing-back instead.
