Inter have picked their potential replacements for Achraf Hakimi and Lautaro Martinez, according to a report in the Italian media today.

Corriere della Sera’s print edition said Simone Inzaghi got straight down to business yesterday when he visited Inter’s training complex at Appiano Gentile.

Emerson Palmieri is out of favour at Chelsea and he would be an indirect replacement of sorts for Hakimi, despite playing on the opposite wing (the left) to the Moroccan international.

If Inter were to sell Lautaro, who has interest from Atletico Madrid, they would chase a deal for Sassuolo striker Giacomo Raspadori.

Raspadori’s agent is Tulio Tinti and he also manages Inzaghi, which means Inter are on good terms with him after appointing the former Lazio boss.

In addition to their interest for Lautaro, Atletico Madrid are preparing to deal another blow to Inter’s transfer plans by submitting a new offer to Udinese for Rodrigo de Paul.
