Matteo Darmian will become Inter’s starting right wing-back when Achraf Hakimi is sold, according to a report in the Italian media today.

Inter are being linked with several options to replace the Moroccan international, who is widely expected to join Paris Saint-Germain in the next few weeks.

Tuttosport’s print edition have claimed Inter will not make a big signing to replace Hakimi, though, instead promoting Darmian as their first-choice option.

Barcelona would want €20-25 million to sell them Emerson Royal, and at the moment Inter have ‘other ideas’.

As far as the left-hand side is concerned, Inter want to sign either Filip Kostic or Emerson Palmieri and the Italian-Brazilian is valued at €15 million.

Up front, they remain interested in signing Sassuolo striker Giacomo Raspadori but they would first need to sort out what is happening with Lautaro Martinez.

Elsewhere, Inter welcomed Tulio Tinti to their training complex yesterday and it is possible they discussed a contract renewal for one of his clients, Andrea Ranocchia.
