Inter will not have any chance of signing Emerson Palmieri until after the UEFA European Championship, according to a report in the Italian media today.

It has been reported by La Gazzetta dello Sport today that Chelsea and Inter are still €10 million apart on their valuation of the Italian left-back, and that there won’t be any clear action whilst the player is playing for Italy at the Euros this summer.

Inter want to sign the ex-Roma player for €10 million but the Premier League side have a figure of €20 million in mind.

Napoli are also chasing the player but it’s believed that if Inter can agree the fee with Chelsea, the player will choose them because they have Champions League football and Napoli do not.

The player is expected to earn around €3.5 million a season of he does move to Inter, which matches his current wage at the European Champions Chelsea.
