Inter have started to think of strikers to replace Lautaro Martinez should he move to Atletico Madrid this summer, according to a report in the Italian media today.
It’s been reported by Tuttosport that Inter’s executives are very wary of either Atletico Madrid or Real Madrid offering an irresistible amount of money for Argentine striker Lautaro Martinez.
Inter have to raise money from player sales and it has seemed most likely that Achraf Hakimi will be the player to depart for either €70 million or €80 million.
Simone Inzaghi has made it clear that he does not expect Lautaro Martinez to be sold, but should a bid of €80 million or €90 million be tabled from Spain, the club could be left with no choice but to cash in.
This is why they have started to consider replacement strikers to partner Romelu Lukaku. The names on the list include Atalanta’s Luis Muriel, Sassuolo’s Giacomo Raspadori, and PSV Eindhoven’s Donyell Malen.
