Inter are preparing to sell a number of fringe players as they look to raise money to invest back into the squad, according to a report in the Italian media today.

According to Tuttosport, a number of players who are not involved in the project will be sold by the Nerazzurri over the course of the summer, along with the major transfer of Achraf Hakimi to Paris Saint Germain.

It’s expected the first player to leave will be Joao Mario, who spent last season on loan at Sporting Lisbon. The Portuguese club are readying a bid that is slightly lower than Inter’s €8 million asking price. A deal is still expected to be agreed soon.

Other players that look set for the exit door include Radja Nainggolan and Dalbert. The former looks set to move to Cagliari, the team he played for this season on loan, whereas the club are waiting for offers for Dalbert.

The Euros and the Copa America this summer will be good opportunities for Ivan Perisic and Matias Vecino to gain some interest in their services.
