Inter will not need to sell off all their stars this summer, according to a leading Italian journalist.

The Nerazzurri are widely reported to need a big sale before June 30 in order to stabilise their economic position, with Achraf Hakimi tipped to join Paris Saint-Germain.

What remains unclear is whether the Moroccan’s departure would be enough on its own, or whether Inter would need to make more sacrifices afterwards.

Speaking to Sky Sport Italia on Thursday, Matteo Marani assured: “Inter won’t need to sell off all their big players if they combine the timing of their outgoing and incoming business well.”

Inter finally confirmed Inzaghi as their new head coach on Thursday when he had the chance to visit Appiano Gentile for the first time.

The former Lazio boss has a big tasks on his hands in replacing Antonio Conte, and it seems he will have little assistance from the transfer market either.

With that in mind, Marani added: “Inzaghi will get a lot of support from the club while he settles in at Inter.”

Inzaghi has replaced Antonio Conte at Inter, who now seems close to taking over at Tottenham Hotspur and making a return to the Premier League.
