Juventus could attempt to sign Nikola Milenkovic from Fiorentina before Inter have a chance to buy the centre-back, according to a report in the Italian media today.

As has been reported by La Gazzetta dello Sport, Inter have been monitoring the Fiorentina centre back for a long time now, but could soon be set to miss out on his services.

New Juventus coach Massimiliano Allegri has long been an admirer of Nikola Milenkovic, and sees him as an ideal defensive addition to the Bianconeri’s squad.

The Serbian is a highly sought after player in this summer’s transfer market because his contract runs out in 2022.

This means Fiorentina do not have much room for manoeuvre when it comes to negotiating a big fee for their player. If he does not leave for a fee this summer, they will likely lose him for free next season.

It’s believed Juventus could sign him for as little as €10 million.
