Inter winger Valentino Lazaro may not be sold by the club this summer despite never impressing for the Nerazzurri, according to a report in the Italian media today.

As is reported by Tuttosport, the situation of Valentino Lazaro will be evaluated by new coach Simone Inzaghi once his players return from the UEFA European Championship this summer.

Valentino Lazaro is part of the Austria squad for the tournament and spent the last campaign on loan at Bundesliga side Borussia Monchengladbach.

Inter signed the 25-year-old from another Bundesliga side, Hertha Berlin, back in 2019, but he failed to make much of an impression in Italy. He made six appearances for the Nerazzurri before being loaned to Premier League side Newcastle United.

He only made 13 appearances for the Magpies, scoring one goal. His contract with Inter doesn’t run out until 2024 so Simone Inzaghi will likely want to review the player in training before deciding whether to loan him out again or even sell him.
