Crotone goalkeeper Alex Cordaz looks set to return to Inter this summer having come through the Nerazzurri academy, according to a report in the Italian media today.

As has been reported by La Gazzetta dello Sport, the 38-year-old would like to come back to Inter to act as third-choice goalkeeper behind Samir Handanovic and Ionut Radu.

Alex Cordaz is a product of the Inter academy but only ever made one senior appearance for the club. That was when he was 19-years-old in a cup game against Juventus. After a series of loans, he was sold to Treviso in 2006.

There is a chance that Inter may send Ionut Radu out on loan or even sell him this summer, which could result in Alex Cordaz becoming the number two keeper behind Samir Handanovic.

One major appeal of signing the Crotone keeper is that because of his history at the club, he would not take up a registration spot for the Champions League squad next season.
