Crotone goalkeeper Alex Cordaz will travel to Milan today in order to sign for Inter, according to a report in the Italian media today.

As has been reported by Gianluca Di Marzio for Sky Sports, Alex Cordaz is very keen to join the Nerazzurri this summer and is now on his way.

The 38-year-old is an academy product at Inter, but he only played one senior game for the club when he was 19-years-old. After a series of loan spells he was permanently sold to Treviso in 2006.

Because of the fact he is an Inter homegrown player, it means he will not take up a registration spot when Inter attempt to compile their squad list for next season’s UEFA Champions League.

It is not yet clear whether Alex Cordaz will be the number two choice behind Samir Handanovic, or if he could find himself as third choice behind either Padelli or Ionut Radu.
