It is believed that Inter chose to hire Simone Inzaghi because he is able to get the best out of the players the club provides, according to a report in the Italian media today.

As has been reported by Tuttosport, one of the main reasons Inter decided on Simone Inzaghi after Antonio Conte’s abrupt departure is that Simone Inzaghi is not reliant on big-money signings to bring success.

Whilst he was the manager of Lazio between 2016 and 2021, there is a number of players that Simone Inzaghi improved, rather than just buying better ones.

These players include potential Inter target Sergej Milinkovic-Savic, Ciro Immobile, Francesco Acerbi, Luis Alberto, and Manuel Lazzari.

This is key for Inter as they attempt to sell players and reduce the wage budget so that they can keep their finances in check for the future.

Another reason Simone Inzaghi suits the Nerazzurri is that he already favours the 3-5-2 system that Antonio Conte used at the club.
