Inter could entertain the idea of selling their injury-prone midfielder Stefano Sensi this summer should the right bid come in, according to a report in the Italian media today.
As has been reported by La Gazzetta dello Sport, the midfielder has had an extremely difficult time with injuries since he joined Inter from Sassuolo. he cost the Nerazzurri €5 million for the initial loan and another €20 million when they made the transfer permanent.
Since then, the Italy international has missed around seven months of football, thanks to nine different injuries. His latest muscle strain has seen him be replaced in the Italy squad by Atalanta’s Matteo Pessina.
Inter would certainly not want to lose money on the investment they made into Stefano Sensi back in 2019, so they will not be listening to any offers that are under €20 million. There may not be any movement until after Simone Inzaghi has had a chance to evaluate his squad.
