Journalist Riccardo Cucchi Praises Inter’s Steven Zhang Over Recent Comments

The Italian journalist and former commentator Riccardo Cucchi has offered support to Steven Zhang over his handling of Inter’s financial dealings.

Writing on his Twitter profile, the journalist became a rare example of people claiming that Steven Zhang has performed well at the end of the season despite his decisions seeing Antonio Conte walk away from the club shortly after winning the Serie A title.

Riccardo Cucchi believes Inter can still be competitive despite the commitment to selling players.

Credo che #Zhang abbia detto le cose come stanno. Chi si sorprende forse non si era accorto di nulla prima. Abbassare i costi non significa automaticamente non vincere più. Il destino economico di una società dovrebbe essere importante per un tifoso, almeno quanto i successi.
