New Inter coach Simone Inzaghi is determined not to let the club sell Marcelo Brozovic this summer, according to a report in the Italian print media today.

As has been reported by Corriere dello Sport, the Croatian midfielder is a key player that Simone Inzaghi does not want to work without in the 2021/22 season.

Marcelo Brozovic has proved himself to be a key player under both Luciano Spalletti and Antonio Conte in the past, which is why Simone Inzaghi does not want to lose his energy and effort in the middle of the pitch.

The midfielder’s contract runs out in June 2022, meaning the club either need to get him to sign a new contract soon, sell him now, or risk losing him for free at the end of the upcoming season.

It is likely that there will be no concrete movement in these negotiations until after the European Championship this summer.
