Inter are being forced to consider selling other key players after Achraf Hakimi, according to a report in the Italian media today.
Corriere dello Sport’s print edition said the Nerazzurri would probably sell one between Christian Eriksen, Roberto Gagliardini and Matias Vecino in midfield.
They would also consider offloading one or more high earners from Ivan Perisic (who earns a whopping €4.7 million annually), Arturo Vidal (€6.5 million) and Alexis Sanchez (€7 million).
Inter are expected to post a financial loss of €170-180 million for the season ending on June 30 and this is why they must repair some of the damage by selling players.
Joao Mario is close to securing an €8 million move to Sporting CP, the report added, while Federico Dimarco would be sold if someone offered around €12-13 million.
Lucien Agoume is in a similar position to Dimarco, having spent the 2020-21 season on loan at Spezia where he struggled for game time.
Elsewhere, Simone Inzaghi will assess Stefano Sensi before Inter decide his future, but even if he stays there are other players Inter can use to raise funds.
Dalbert and Valentino Lazaro are returning to Inter after loan spells with Rennes and Borussia Monchengladbach, but the club would listen to offers for both.
Zinho Vanheusden will be re-signed for €13 million from Standard Liege, but he also has interest from elsewhere and could be sacrificed.
