Inter remain keen on a move for Sassuolo striker Giacomo Raspadori, according to a report in the Italian media today.

Corriere dello Sport’s print edition said the Nerazzurri had already held talks with Raspadori’s agent Tulio Tinti, although no official talks have begun for now.

Inter’s priority at the moment is to sell players and so they will not pursue their interest for the 21-year-old at the moment.

Raspadori has been linked with several top European clubs, including Inter’s city rivals AC Milan, after an impressive breakthrough season under Roberto De Zerbi.

Inter have two transfer targets playing for Italy in this month’s European Championships, the report noted, with the other one being Chelsea wing-back Emerson Palmieri.

Emerson wants to play more next season after making just 15 appearances in all competitions in the 2020-21 campaign, and he has interest from Inter and Napoli.

Italy begin their Euro 2020 campaign against Turkey on Friday and Roberto Mancini’s side are in a group with Wales and Switzerland too.
