Two young French players contracted to Inter who spent last season on loan appear to be close to contract extensions that would take them to 2024.

Today’s print edition of Turn-based newspaper Tuttosport report that yesterday a meeting took place between Inter representatives and Oscar Damiani, agent of Andrew Gravillon and Lucien Agoume regarding the futures of the two players, returning from loan spells at Lorient and Spezia respectively.

It is thought that the bases for contract extensions have existed for each player for some time, and that only the signatures have been missing.

New Inter manager Simone Inzaghi is expected to evaluate Agoume’s performances in his preparation for the upcoming season, which should clarify whether the youngster has a future at Inter in the short-term or will seek out another loan.

Gravillion on the other hand has attracted interest from multiple clubs in France, and Inter may consider selling him in order to help generate capital gains needed by the club.
