Lautaro Martinez is one of the highly-valued Inter squad members who may be on the move this summer, and Spanish giants Atletico Madrid and Barcelona are two of the first clubs to show early interest in his signature.

Italian broadcaster Sport Mediaset has reported that Atletico Madrid have made early inquiries about the Argentine striker believed to be wanted by Colchoneros manager Diego Simeone, but the early offer is far too low to be seriously considered by Inter.

Atletico’s first offer to bring the 23-year-old to the Wanda Metropolitano is thought to be around €45 million, half of what the Nerazzurri value the player at.

It is believed that the Madrid club have submitted the offer primarily to gauge the feasibility of a move and will present a more serious offer later.

Catalan giants Barcelona meanwhile are also thought to be preparing a move to sign the Argentine, although they would likely have to sell players before making such a significant move, with French attacker Ousmane Dembele potentially on his way out at the Camp Nou.
