Inter’s Federico Dimarco is a target for Cagliari to bolster their left-sided options for next season, but no concrete details have been proposed for a transfer of the player.

Today’s print edition of Rome-based newspaper Corriere dello Sport report that rossoblu head coach Leonardo Semplici is willing to let the likes of Charalampos Lykogiannis and Alessandro Tripaldelli go from his squad, and that Dimarco is seen as an ideal replacement for these outgoings.

Dimarco is returning to Inter after an impressive loan spell with Hellas Verona, and is currently in the Nerazzurri’s plans but the club would likely listen to offers.

Inter may try and use Dimarco as part of a deal to bring reported target Nahitan Nandez to the San Siro from Cagliari, but the Sardinian club would prefer to keep any deals involving the players separate.

Cagliari are thought to be ready to begin negotiations with an offer, and are awaiting Inter’s response.
