Newly-appointed Brescia manager Filippo Inzaghi has praised his brother for choosing to join Inter this summer, considering it a good move for both coach and club.
Asked about his brother during his unveiling as Brescia head coach, Pippo stated that he’s happy for his brother and believes he will succeed at Inter.
“We talk and advise each other often,” the Italy legend said about his brother, demonstrating the close bond the two share and the intimate understanding of the incoming Inter boss’s career choices.
Pippo suggested that “after five years there comes a time when either ten players must change or the coach must be changed,” with respect to his brother’s decision to depart from Lazio after enjoying five years of success and constant improvement at the capital club.
Pippo further remarked that his brother did “something incredible” for the Biancocelesti, and showed optimism that the young coach will experience similar success with Inter.
Filippo Inzaghi is known for his successful exploits in Serie A with Atalanta, Juventus, and Milan, and scored a total of 25 goals in 57 games for the Italian national team.
