19-year-old Inter midfielder Lucien Agoume is in talks with the Nerazzurri regarding an extension of his contract through his agent after enjoying a full season in Serie A on loan at Spezia last season.

Intermediary Crescenzo Cecere has claimed that the player, his agent, and the club plan to start discussions on the player’s contract next week, having made contact in a courtesy visit already.

The France Under-17 international featured for Vincenzo Italiano’s newly-promoted Spezia side during the 2020-21 campaign, making 12 appearances and scoring his first Serie A goal.

It is not yet known whether Inzaghi has any plans for the young midfielder, but the 19-year-old is considered an exciting prospect and is a player that Inter will want to keep an eye on going forward.

Cecere also praised the appointment of Simone Inzaghi as new Inter manager, calling the Italian a “great professional” and suggesting that he could even improve on his impressive work with Lazio during his spell on the Nerazzurri bench.
