Chelsea have matched Paris Saint-Germain’s offer for Inter’s Moroccan international wing-back Achraf Hakimi, French media reports.

According to French media outlet le 10 Mercato Chelsea have matched PSG’s offer for the Moroccan, but at the moment the player prefers the French club as a destination, having agreed terms with the Ligue 1 giants.

Aside from cash offers, both clubs are exploring the possibility of including players in an attempt to persuade Inter to part ways with the 22-year-old.

According to the report, PSG sporting director Leonardo is currently considering an offer in which members of Paris Saint-Germain squad would head to the Giuseppe Meazza in order to convince Inter.

Hakimi would represent a major loss for the Nerazzurri, but the club might be willing to listen to offers which included useful additions to their squad who could strengthen the team without a large financial outlay while still receiving a fee for Hakimi.
