Cagliari have shown an interested in bringing Uruguayan striker Martin Satriano to Sardinia from Inter, Italian media are reporting.

Italian news outlet CalcioMercato report that the 20-year-old was close to joining the Rossoblu before choosing Inter, and the club still retain an interest in acquiring his services.

Cagliari are preparing an offer for €5 million plus bonuses to sign the youngster from Inter.

The club have also shown an interest in 18-year-old Primavera midfielder Cesare Casadei, although in this case it is thought that Inter are unlikely to sell the player as they value him highly and are intending to monitor his progress.

Cagliari and Inter are currently involved in numerous negotiations over the transfer of players between clubs, including Nerazzurri midfielder Radja Nainggolan and Cagliari’s Nahitan Nandez.

However, any sale of the Inter youngers is unlikely to be a part of any deal for Uruguayan midfielder Nandez, and would rather be a cash-only deal.
