A key breakthrough has been reached in Inter’s pursuit of Serbian winger Filip Kostic, as the player has reportedly agreed personal terms with the Nerazzurri.

This according to Sky Sports Germany reporter Max Bielefeld who took to his official Twitter account to tweet out that an agreement exists between the Inter target and the Nerazzurri, although no offer has yet been made to the player’s current club, Bundesliga outfit Eintracht Frankfurt.

The 28-year-old is a long-term target for the Nerazzurri and would be considered a key player for the wide-left role under incoming coach Simone Inzaghi.

Before Inter can begin negotiating with Eintracht Frankfurt, they must generate funds by selling players, such as Chelsea and Paris Saint-Germain linked Moroccan international wing-back Achraf Hakimi.

According to the report Eintracht Frankfurt’s asking price for the Serbian wing-back is around €20-25 million, and that Inter would need to come up with this amount in order to bring the Serbian to the San Siro.

Kostic’s arrival would likely be a key piece of business in the process of strengthening the squad for Simone Inzaghi ahead of the upcoming season.
