Emerson Royal’s agent Frederic Pena was not only in Milan to meet with Inter, but also held talks with city rivals AC Milan, Italian media are reporting.
Italian news outlet CalcioMercato.com are reporting that the Inter target’s agent also met with AC Milan director of football Frederic Massara while he visited Milan.
It has been reported that Pena was in Milan to open talks with the Nerazzurri about a potential switch that would bring his client to the Giuseppe Meazza, but Milan’s interest in the player represents a potential obstacle for the player’s arrival at Inter.
Inter are looking at the Brazilian right-back, who has impressed on loan at Real Betis, in as a replacement for Achraf Hakimi should the Moroccan depart for PSG or Chelsea.
However, if the Rossoneri should step up their pursuit of the player as part of their own ambitious sporting project, he may play at the San Siro in different colours than Inter’s next season.
