Inter Sporting Director Piero Ausilio will arrive in Rome tomorrow to work on completing some key transfer business for the Nerazzurri.

The sporting director is not the only key official at a Serie A set to attend, with AC Milan’s Paolo Maldini also scheduled to make an appearance among others, according to Sky Sport Italia’s transfer market expert Gianluca Di Marzio, who reported this on air earlier this afternoon.

One reason for the visit will be to observe players with the Italian national team in their Euro 2020 opener against Turkey.

However, the primary reason for the visit is thought to be to meet with sporting directors and other intermediaries representing Italian and foreign clubs to discuss transfer business.

One of the most significant pieces of business that Ausilio is working on is the transfer of Moroccan wingback Achraf Hakimi, most likely to a foreign club, and it is hoped that he will make some progress during the summit with PSG and Chelsea the most likely destinations for Hakimi.

Di Marzio also mentioned that Inter are waiting for responses from Ashley Young and Andrea Ranocchia on the contract extensions offered to them.
