Inter wing-back Achraf Hakimi has agreed personal terms with Paris Saint-Germain although no agreement exists between the French club and Inter for his sale, Italian media are reporting.

Today’s print edition of Rome-based newspaper Corriere dello Sport claim that the Moroccan has accepted PSG’s proposed net salary of €8 million, though he has not yet agreed terms with Chelsea.

Hakimi’s agent Alejandro Camacho, who also represents Inter striker Lautaro Martinez, is working towards a deal that would bring the Moroccan to the Parc des Princes, in which the salary agreement represents a key development.

Such an agreement with PSG’s rivals for Hakimi’s signature Chelsea has yet to be reached, which could mean an advantage to the French club.

Nevertheless, the race between the two clubs is very much ongoing, and neither have met Inter’s demands for a transfer fee.

Despite the importance of the 22-year-old to Inter winning the Scudetto last season after joining in the summer, Hakimi is expected to be sold if an offer comes in which meets Inter’s valuation.
