Crotone’s Alex Cordaz will soon be an Inter player, pending his medical, Italian media are reporting.
Today’s print edition of Turin-based newspaper Tuttosport report that all aspects of the deal that would bring the goalkeeper to the Giuseppe Meazza for two seasons are finalized apart from his medical, and his signing should soon be announced.
Personal terms have been agreed with the 38-year-old, who will earn a net of €150,000 per season plus bonuses.
Cordaz’s soon-to-be-former club Crotone have also forgone demanding a fee for the player, owing to their good relationship with the Nerrazzuri and as a show of gratitude towards Cordaz for his service to the club.
Cordaz is expected to become Inter’s third-choice keeper behind Number One Samir Handanovic, although a deputy for the Slovenian has yet to be chosen.
Cordaz has also expressed a wish to return to Crotone as a manager when his playing career is over, due to his fondness for the Calabrian club.
