Young Primavera midfielder Mattisa Sangalli looks set to be given his first professional contract by the Nerazzurri.

Italian media outlet FCInterNews claim that the 19-year-old will soon be offered a senior contract with Inter, as he is a young player the club are keeping a close watch on.

Sangalli impressed last season with Armando Madonna’s Primavera side, and his performances have caused the Nerazzurri board to gain faith that he can be a useful player for the senior side going forward.

It is not yet clear what Inter’s exact intentions are for the player – no indication has come that promotion to the senior team is something in the youngster’s immediate future, but the contract opens the door.

It is also possible that Inter will look to send Sangalli on loan to develop his abilities presuming he is unable to win minutes with the senior squad.

Whatever the case, the contract offer signals that the Nerazzurri feel that there is a future for the teenager.
