Exciting young Italian midfielder Francesco Nunziatini will soon be an Inter player, according to Italian media.

This is according to a report by Italian outlet FCInterNews which claims that the teenager will arrive for free after the Lazio-based club’s relegation to Serie C.

Inter had initially balked at the €25,000 asking price when they first tried to sign the Italian, but with Livorno’s relegation the Nerazzurri are able to acquire the player without a transfer fee involved.

Nunziatini is considered a highly exciting young prospect, and Inter had to compete with the likes of Serie A rivals Fiorentina and Roma for his signature.

Nunziatini’s arrival signals that the Nerazzurri remain devoted to developing to developing the best young Italian talents, as exemplified by the form of players such as Nicolo Barella and Alessandro Bastoni at the Giuseppe Meazza.

It is expected that the deal will be finalized with the player’s signature on Tuesday.
