Inter’s official twitter account has posted a photo of defender Danilo D’Ambrosio with the graphic “I M Scudetto” to acknowledge the role he played in last season’s title triumph.

The Italian has become a fan favourite at the Giuseppe Meazza since joining Inter in 2014, renowned for his knack for popping up with important goals.

The 32-year-old has made 233 appearances and scored 30 goals in all competitions for the Nerazzurri, including nineteen Serie A appearances during last season’s scudetto triumph, in which the Italian scored three goals.
