Barcelona have emerged as another club looking to sign Inter’s Lautaro Martinez this summer, and they could use an Inter target as part of the deal according to a report in the Spanish media today.
As has been reported by Catalan newspaper Sport, Barcelona have joined fellow La Liga sides Real Madrid and Ateltico Madrid in pursuing Lautaro Martinez.
Barcelona have chased Lautaro Martinez in the past but the Argentine striker always decided to stay with the Nerazzurri. This time though it looks like a deal could be a lot more possible.
The reason for it being more possible is that Inter are very interested in Barcelona’s young right-back, Emerson Royal. He spent the last two seasons on loan at Real Betis and has impressed clubs across Europe.
Inter have lined up Emerson Royal as an Achraf Hakimi replacement. The Nerazzurri want around €90 million for Lautaro Martinez, but inclusion of Emerson Royal in the deal could make them front runners ahead of Real Madrid and Atletico Madrid.
