Inter intend to keep Danish midfielder Christian Eriksen at the club for next season as he is a part of incoming manager Simone Inzaghi’s plans.

This is according to Italian transfer market expert Gianluca Di Marzio, who claimed on Italian Broadcaster Sky Sport Italia tonight that the Dane will have a major role at Inter next season.

The former Ajax and Tottenham player joined the Nerazzurri in January of 2020 but took time to find form at the club, and was tipped for an exit one year later.

However, during the second half of last campaign the midfielder became a regular fixture in the starting eleven under manager Antonio Conte, and his contributions proved crucial in the club’s historic scudetto win.

It is thought that Eriksen now enjoys himself at the club, and has no intention to leave.

Given that manager Inzaghi is also said to admire the player’s qualities, there is little reason why the player would depart the club in the summer transfer window.
