Christian Eriksen has been taken to hospital after a medical emergency during Denmark’s Euro 2020 opener against Finland in Copenhagen.
The player collapsed on the pitch towards the end of the first half and was immediately attended to by medical professionals.
It is not currently clear what happened to the player, but UEFA has confirmed that he has been taken to hospital and has been stabilised.
It is not clear whether the game will be resumed or not.
Following the medical emergency involving Denmark’s player Christian Eriksen, a crisis meeting has taken place with both teams and match officials and further information will be communicated at 19:45 CET.
The player has been transferred to the hospital and has been stabilised.
